Wegmans wanted to connect with their on-the-go consumers providing them immediate access to the website. The implementation of mobile Wegmans was just another way they could enhance the customer experience.

Build a mobile site with a subset of features most commonly accessed by users of the site in 45 days. In addition to providing general store information, we were tasked with incorporating the following feature into their mobile site: customer log-in, store location, shopping list builder, walk-through layout based on store location for shopping list, recipes and product look up.

StormFrog worked with Wegmans to assess their analytics to determine what types of devices were hitting their site and which functionality was appropriate for mobile rendering. We designed and developed a compact mobile site that has its own distinct look and feel, but remained within Wegmans brand standards.

Wegmans immediately saw a jump in analytics reporting on the number of handheld devices that were accessing the site. The site design has also been recognized by design bloggers.
