Dunn-Edwards is one of the largest employee-owned paint manufacturers in the Southwestern United States offering a complete line of premium architectural paint, painting supplies and equipment for both professional painters and consumers. They operate more than 100 stores in 5 states.

Dunn-Edwards knew they needed to update their website to enhance user experience for both professional and homeowners. Their perception as a high-quality, user-friendly brand was at odds with their web presence. The site was difficult to navigate and interact with, especially the commerce section, and the site content didn’t speak to target audiences on their level. So they came to us.

They say it takes a village to paint a community. Or something like that. And right they are. Case in point, this full redesign of the Dunn-Edwards website done in collaboration with The Phelps Group and powered by FrogCMS, our easy-to-use web based content management system. We didn’t stop with a fresh look and feel. We also created a color tool to assist with project development for professionals and homeowners, providing a virtual view of the end product. An accounting management tool was also layered into the website to track transactions, statements and invoices.

Dunn-Edwards launched the site via email and direct mail to their current customer list of 900. Within the first week, they had over 100 registrants. To date, there are over 4,600 registrants.
